REducation
REducation is an emergency aid hub for schools launched by Osvitoria. Since 2024, it has operated under the long-term #MYRPUA program aimed at restoring, improving, and mitigating the impact of war. The initiative is funded by the global fund Education Cannot Wait.
How does REducation work?
- Fill out the application form.
- Interview to clarify details.
- Final approval in coordination with the donor.
Following the selection process, 4 schools will receive support.
We focus on supporting schools that have sustained minor damage due to military actions.
Assistance may include:
- repairing surface cracks in walls and ceilings;
- replacing damaged windows, doors, or furniture;
- restoring interior finishes;
- fixing utility systems (water, electricity, gas);
- repairing roofs, floors, or other external parts of the building.
Application requirements:
- applications are accepted only from public general secondary schools
- the application must be submitted by the school’s administration
- the school must be located in one of the following regions: Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Mykolaiv, or Kyiv Oblast (excluding Kyiv city)
What kind of support requests does REducation prioritize?
The project gives priority to requests that enable the fastest possible return to in-person learning.
- your school has a functioning shelter
- your school operates in in-person or blended learning format (blended in case of infrastructure damage)
