Initiatives with the participation of “Osvitoria” – Volt Camp, School of Educational Managers (with Kyiv-Mohyla Business School) and Youth Development Program (with Coca-Cola) were awarded at the “Partnership for Sustainability Award 2019 ” in the “Society” category.
It is a partnership project of UN Global Compact – United Nations projects in Ukraine, where the best are rewarded for achieving sustainable development goals. More than 80 cases from 4 countries competed this year. The award ceremony was held at the Osvitoria Hub.
Volt Camp (with Aspen Institute Kyiv and the MAN – Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine) is a unique free science camp for physics, astronomy and invention for young geniuses from all over Ukraine. This summer in the Carpathians, future stars of science have been studying and having fun in practical experiments. Their talents were developed by the best physics teachers, intellectual stars and thought leaders. In particular, the winner of the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine Paul Wheat.
School of Educational Managers is a joint project of Osvitoria and Kyiv Mohyla Business School. It is the first program in Ukraine for school directors, heads of departments and departments of education, heads of educational NGOs, founders of educational sub-companies. The purpose of such training is qualitative systemic changes in education at management level.
They also noted the project of Youth Empowerment, which was implemented by Osvitoria together with Coca-Cola. The program helps graduates of boarding schools to prepare for external independent assessment and to enter higher education.
