Cooperation with the Ministry of Education

The school of trainers of the New Ukrainian School (NUS) is intended to promote education reform in Ukraine and aims at retraining 22,000 teachers working with first-graders in 2018.

The school of trainers of the New Ukrainian School (NUS) is a partnership project with the Ministry of Education of Ukraine, operating with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation. At the request of the ministry, Osvitoria organized training for 50 NUS trainers selected on a competitive basis from all over Ukraine; 2 persons per oblast.

The training is intended to promote education reform in Ukraine and aims at retraining 22,000 teachers working with first-graders in 2018.

Those enrolled in the school of trainers will master new methods of integrated training, group work, and critical thinking, learn new academic environment organization approaches, work with students at their request, etc. The program consists of four academic sessions and intersessional periods intended to convert theory into practice in the environment of the modern Ukrainian school.
