Today our team present iLearn project to Mr. Roman Hreba, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine. Recall that our project reached the final of the competition EGAP Challenge. The program is a joint initiative of the State Agency for e-government and the East Europe Foundation within the program EGAP (e-Government for accountability and participation), funded by the Swiss Confederation.
As a part of “First profession” charity program in a partnership with W8Less we organized sewing course in Dobrovelychkivka (Kyrovograd region) orphan boarding school. Now kids have their own workshop, equipped by modern sewing mashine and all the nessesary equipment. We believe that our wards could sew fancy dresses and suits very soon, as they dream about it.
Supported by Osvitoria the boarding school leavers started intensive preparation to passing the Standardized External Testing-2017. As a parn of iLearn educational program we organize vebinars for children who can’t get appropriate and qualified preparation. This year, the program involved 144 pupils from 6 orphanage boarding school throughout Ukraine.
All the best – for teachers! Since the beginning of February, “Osvitoriya” has announced two good news: the launch of Ukrainian language an online course and educational hub opening – where the 9th of February we gathered with friends.
The good news: our educational project iLearn reached the final EGAP Challenge competition !
EGAP Challenge – search and support of socially important IT projects in the e-democracy field and open data with grant funding and significant government support.
Our project praised by the jury and mentors, so iLearn fully meet the requirements of the competition, namely the development of educational programs and research through technical innovations and modern technologies use. It is aimed to improve and reach the quality of education.
The most expected event of February – Opening the educational hub “Osvitoria”, which has no analogues in Ukraine. Now educators have a place for development and communication. In our area you can go just to drink coffee and read a book (by the way – we have great educational library), to communicate with colleagues in a cozy corner, and of course – to listen a lectures and workshops to be held here regularly. more
Great news for students and teachers – it`s possible to study Ukrainian language online. New course “Lifehackes of Ukrainian language” from “EdEra” and “Osvitoria” helps to learn difficult topics quickly and easily in any corner of the world!
The course consists of 16 topics with video, rules and associations. This method will help students learn the material easily. After each block of material students can check their knowledges – write the test and answer an an open questions.
For several years we have been implementing a charitable initiative to orphanages and children from vulnerable social groups. In 2015 the professional orientation program was presented to the high school students. The mentioned program aims at helping the students prepare to the independent external assessment and choose their future professions being at school.
Statistics says that more than 80% of graduates do not know who they want to be. Just imagine – most teens choose education for parents, or friends, or just to choose something.
Usually, in the end of the year people and companies summarize their work. We are happy to share with you our success as so many good things have been done. We even calculated that we traveled almost 20,000 kilometers! Who is more, respond :)!
The best part of our job – is to see the result of our work and understand that thousands of kilometers that we overcame with our kind mission not useless!
We have visited their paternalized students from Velykopolovetska Specialized Orphan Boarding School (Level I-II). The “First profession” program has successfully been implemented at the School for almost 4 years and enabled the orphans to learn a practical professions such as hairstyling, knitting and shoemaking and repair. “Osvitoria” provides the students not only with professionals but also with all the materials and equipment necessary for easy and comfortable learning.
The “First Profession” program helps orphanes find their place in the world. We aim at giving them a positive outlook with professional skills to aid them after they leave. more
